Quickgine
Making games quicker, faster, and efficiently.
Why?
I am frustrated with the lack of speed that Godot Engine, Unreal Engine, Unity Engine, and some others that don't give the player an increase in speed for getting games out of the door. The less time you spend putting finger to keyboard, the more time you spend putting ideas to paper, right?
So I wanted to include everything. I mean everything. Pulling out all the stops for making games I want to create in a short span of time. This is similar to Valve Software, Epic Games1, and maybe a few indie devs.
Walk me through this project
The SHELL files are my individual files to build the project. Long, multiple commands shortened to just one.
This Godot Engine strips AR/XR capabilities, some useless things because Godot has self-made features that are equally or are better than their counterparts. Note: Godot is a submodule. It's so I can update it with ease.
Custom modules are here. Yes, it bloats Godot Engine, but we are aiming at speed over all else (unlike other engines, which offer a balance or are fully in on realism).
[COMING SOON] Assets are also on the side of the engine. No more searching up things on the internet, just get it within the engine. Audios, 3D and 2D assets, and custom buttons maybe2.
[COMING SOON] There are a lot more tabs. That is no problem; You will learn what everything does through it's unlocking nature. Essentially, the more you interact with the engine, the more things seem to branch out like a tree. Simple to look at in the beginning, but you will understand the power later down the line. This is how people learn games like Sid Meier's Civilization.
Dependencies
Note: I use Debian. Other OS users might have different package names.
